Bob Lemoine is the Data Manager at the Earth Science Ocean Data Center, where he leads a cross-functional team of ocean scientists and software engineers. With extensive experience in Earth science data systems and marine informatics, Bob oversees the full lifecycle of ocean data management—from acquisition and processing to quality control and distribution.

Under his leadership, the team ensures that high-value oceanographic data collected from satellites, buoys, and research missions is accurate, well-documented, and readily accessible for scientific analysis and operational use. Bob is passionate about building scalable, interoperable data infrastructure that supports climate research, ecosystem monitoring, and global ocean modeling efforts.
